The PLAY Campaign

PLAY, Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth, is a campaign of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society in conjunction with the Taylor Hooton Foundation. The PLAY Campaign is designed to promote awareness for healthy and active living among America's youth. The Taylor Hooton Foundation brings the component of educating about the dangers of Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED's). The PLAY Campaign travels to all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums and teaches these important messages to thousands of children. This blog will follow the campaign around the country and post pictures from the events and interviews from people directly involved.

22 Down, 8 To Go

As we're a week into the season we have 22 PLAY Campaigns scheduled for the 2010 season. We are in the works with the other 8 teams of securing dates and once we do I will pass them along to you. I'm excited for the season to start and to get out on the diamonds and educate today's youth about the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle.
