The PLAY Campaign

PLAY, Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth, is a campaign of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society in conjunction with the Taylor Hooton Foundation. The PLAY Campaign is designed to promote awareness for healthy and active living among America's youth. The Taylor Hooton Foundation brings the component of educating about the dangers of Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED's). The PLAY Campaign travels to all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums and teaches these important messages to thousands of children. This blog will follow the campaign around the country and post pictures from the events and interviews from people directly involved.

Texas Rangers Event Confirmed

The Texas Rangers event has been confirmed for May 22nd. The field has been reserved and the planning as been started. Another event that has been confirmed is the Toronto Blue Jays event which will be held on August 11th. Other tentative event dates that we've received are San Francisco for June 14th and Philadelphia for August 10th. The summer is starting to get busy!
